Hailing from New Jersey in the United States, DJ Shep otherwise known as DJ Felicious Rex, is a product of 90's alternative rock. It was by chance that he was able to attend the massive Woodstock 99 music festival and witnessed performances from the likes of Moby and the Chemical Brothers in which he instantly became addicted to electronic music.
Frequenting clubs and parties in the nearby city of Philadelphia, Dave became involved with promoting, and was influenced by Josh Wink and Nigel Richards who ran Local 13 Productions. In the early 2000's many venues were playing progressive trance, which did not suit the underground sounds Dave had come to love and cherish so he decided to purchase a pair of Technics 1200 turntables and began to spin. After about 6 months of practicing, he started throwing "outlaws" or illegal outdoor electronic music parties in the Pinelands of Southern Jersey, attracting upwards of 200 people. Now Dave is half way around the world in Manila PHL.
