In 1999 at the tender age of 15 Nicholas ‘DJ Skribzz’ Gonsalves developed a passion for playing music. At school he played at every possible house party, family and school function including his class graduation party. Now known as Dj Skribzz, a name given to him based on his less than legible handwriting, he is one of the most eclectic and exciting young djs on Barbados’s entertainment scene. This recognition was translated into gigs at all of the major night clubs in Barbados including The Boatyard, Club Xtreme, McBrides, The Ship Inn, After dark, Café Jungles, Club 360, Elbow room and Harbour Lights to name a few. DJ Skribzz also played on some of the biggest stage events in Barbados. His skills have also broken the boundaries of his homeland with gigs throughout the region and
as far north as Canada where he played at a number of clubs. Along with his party gigs Dj Skribzz has played many corporate functions, dinners and weddings, again displaying the versatility of this dj.
