Hit the decks at about 17 yrs of age influenced by hip hop and scratching and with less than 1 yr experience had reached the finals of the 1990 NSW DMC state finals. Guest DJ'd at several acid house parties in Newcastle's 2 major dance clubs early to mid 1990 & by the end of 1990 landed a residency in Newcastle's 2 major clubs at the time (The Castle Tavern & Leroys Bar).
Early 90's i took to Sydney's, then thriving, club & rave scene playing at several underground rave events & clubs including Narnia underground rave (1992) and clubnights including Club Spice, Humphreys, Carmens, Plush, Harmony and a special guest set at Stun-Neo Pharaoh.
In 1995 i won the Sundaze DJ Competition with an overall score of 95% with a set to "inspire & amaze" (3D Magazine) and from there to the present day strive to continue to keep crowds both jumping and entertained whenever i play with a combination of precision mixing, scratching & sampling!
