Growing up in New York City during the 90's, DJ DAMI was naturally influenced by the booming local music scene and began playing and mixing music at the age of 15. Drawing from his New York roots, DJ DAMI diverse music style blends house and electro with a hint of hip hop, 80s, pop and rock. His unique style, high energy and keen ability to read and interact with the crowd have fueled his popularity, commanding him to behind the decks. Being able to fill a dance floor on any given night and be able to work full time at NY's utility company Con Edsion is not an easy task however it is one that DJ DAMI has repeatedly done with ease week in and week out. With a strong fan base backing him where ever he goes, club owners have come to rely on DJ DAMI to be the go to DJ for week night parties. Most recently, DJ DAMI's development of a monthly residency event "The DAMI Movement" at LOVE Nightclub has become Long Islands most frequent night party and popular hangout for even the biggest names
