Diggy (born Matt Kirkman on July 27, 1979 is a DJ and producer of Drum and Bass and Nu Disco. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his music as Diggy, which is a nickname from his childhood.
Diggy started to learn his DJ trade in 1993 when he got his first pair of Technics 1210's and started collecting vast amounts of Drum and Bass, Garage and Hip Hop. He was also in a Hip Hop outfit called (Middle Earth) which used to produce and upload songs to the internet mainly Reason Station. Diggy is now a resident DJ for the Twisted Bass nights which is a Drum and Bass event held at Bunka in Leicestershire, Ashby de la zouch, which has a Funktion one sound system. DJs that have played at Bunka include Claude Von Stroke, Andy C, B Traits, Eats Everything and many more. Diggy Has his own night at the Bunka (Mammal) which is dedicated to Nu Disco and House.
