About Marcelo Cruz
Marcelo Cruz started his musical journey early on in his home town of Santiago, Chile but it wasnt until he moved to Montreal, Canada that he really got into music and developed his dj skills. He started off in the hip hop scene djing for friends and private parties until the gigs in nigh clubs started rolling in. Being in the Montreal nightlife, Cruz stumbled into an underground after hour club one night and discovered the intense world of House Music. That is when he made the immediate switch as he was completely mesmerized with this sound. Marcelo Cruzs style has changed over the years from deep house to afrolatin vibes. After years of DJing and playing clubs around Montreal the time came to produce. With a simple set up and a keyboard the magic began. Cruz has spent many years perfecting his craft and still feels that every new production is a learning experience. Cruz later relocated to Toronto, Canada a city he feels truly inspiring with its diverse culture
