DeViere is an experimental videographer, music producer and radio disc jockey based in Boston, Massachusetts.

His video and music productions examine the social ramifications of technological expansion through the use of single-channel screened video and sound manipulated in such a way as to create a sculptural as opposed to temporal form or mass. DeViere creates by building up ideas, tearing them down and rebuilding again until the subject matter, image and sound have been integrated into a unified new media statement.

His intentions are not to shock, but to move his audience. It does not matter if it is a positive or negative reaction. Each element has a meaning and history all its own. By arranging the video and/or audio data of the past, DeViere brings the imagination of those who experience it into the now, to draw a conclusion. That said; DeViere creates for himself hoping to touch someone. He creates with no preconceived notions or genres to which to conform.
