Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, DJ Cat Dady has considered himself to be born into Hip-Hop. "As early as I could remember, my family was full of DJ's, emcees, break dancers, and graffiti artists. That's all I saw growing up. I couldn't get away from this if I wanted to". Cat Dady watched his older brothers make a solid name for themselves and becoming pioneers and legends in the local St. Louis rap scene as the Black Pearl Mafia. Fast forward a few years to when Cat moved to the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illionois) and decided to embrace the DJing element of the culture and became a professional, starting at house parties and eventually numerous nightclubs in his area. Adding to this was his time as a radio personality on the local college radio station, 88.5 in Davenport, IA. Cat Dady has added to his resume Radio Show Host, DJ, President and A&R at Local Traffic Only Music Group, and Artist Management.
