United Kingdom

Ruffride's musical journey strarted back in 1998, DJing in small barns, muddy fields and house parties, and it wasn't until 2004 that he started to break through into the circuit, making regular appearances in one of the UK's most prominent 'up & coming' rooms: New Nation hosted by Slammin' Vinyls mighty One Nation outfit. After taking over the reigns of New Nation in 2004, he started tour nights, DJing all over the place; from London to Edinburgh to Bournemouth and beyond, in some of the most prodigious venues nationwide. He went on to do a 4 year stint as resident for One Nation which certainly cemented himself as a name to watch in the Drum & Bass scene.

Ruffride started producing in 2005, and after a few years of perfecting his own trade; he teamed up with Vital Elements (one half of the legendary Serial Killaz) in 2008 to create a solid studio partnership, with tracks having gained support from ex-Radio 1 DJ Grooverider & Crissy Criss of Radio 1extra fame.
