Patrick A. Reed is a NYC-based curator, DJ, and pop culture journalist/historian. His museum work includes Inventing America: The Comic Book Revolution, Jack Kirby: Heroes And Humanity, Marvel: Earth's Mightiest Exhibition, Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing, Marvel: Universe Of Super Heroes, Eight Decades Of Archie, and Disney 100: The Exhibition; he assembles and hosts the Hip-Hop And Comics: Cultures Combining programs at conventions, festivals, and colleges around the country; his writing has been published by Sony Music, ComicsAlliance, TwoMorrows Publishing, and MTV; and he is happy to spin tunes whenever the opportunity presents itself. His first book, Spider-Man: Total Universe, a complete guide to more than sixty years of Spider-Man comics, will be published by Black Dog & Leventhal in September, 2026.
