Back before I was able to afford CD’s (6th grade) I recorded my favorite songs from the radio and copied them on cassette tapes. After listening to them over and over I would trade tapes with my friends so that I can listen to new songs. Eventually, my friends would pass my tapes around and I began getting requests from strangers for tapes because they liked mine so much. While in 7th grade one of my tapes got into the hands of a few of my teachers and they believed in my talent and helped my get better and more up to date equipment so that I can make better tapes. Once I was able to create better mixes I was able to cultivate a following of friends and associates to play at their parties and I have been DJing ever since and it has been over 15 years. I have worked with individuals for birthday parties, baby showers, children’s parties, weddings, dinner parties and anniversaries. I have also worked larger events in NYC clubs and lounges as well as with businesses for holiday parties.
