Jerry Reyes received his dance music education in his hometown, the birthplace of House music, Chicago, over the radio airwaves religiously listening to the “hot mix” DJ shows of radio stations like WBMX, WGCI, and WCYC all through the night during his childhood in the 1980s. His DJ style is still very much influenced by these pioneer DJs who included a variety of genres in their sets as long as a main goal was met — to move your body.
