The first mix is my own music that I’ve been tapping a way at on my phone (hence the title Pocket Computer) for a while now.
It is made with the free Korg app - Gadget Le - which I believe to be incredible!
I thought I’d stick with the free version to limit myself to learning what it has to offer and to try to create a sound of my own,
as I like to do so many different things in different styles, I wanted to try to have some consistency with it.
I love that even techno/ electronic music can be so emotive, and making this music has helped me through some hard times, dealing with grief, relationships, and 1st world problems, while being concerned with this human race and it's impact on our beautiful planet in these crazy times.
Although often the tracks are melancholic, I hope there is a feeling of hope and positivity.
I have now (nearly) made 3 albums under this moniker ‘Bleak Treacle’ - I hope you enjoy the first!
