Big & Ready is a new sound founded in 2017 by Sick selecta and Sunda, meeting halfway between Madrid and Bristol. Specialised in Jamaican music culture, this new formation plays only records from the 60s to the 80s, from ska to rub-a-dub or early dancehall, giving special prominence to 7” and Dub plates/specials cut in acetate.

After 10 years of experience behind the decks and having belonged to different soundsystems such as Pot of Gold Soundsystem or Jamaican Lovers, and after having performed in dances all over Spain, Germany, Portugal, London or Bristol, these two selectas are ready to make their own way in the reggae scene, combining a dynamic show at the mic with wicked mixing skills at the turntables.
