I started DJing in 1997 under the name Sole 1 and taught myself how to mix, scratch and beat juggle. I had competed as a quarter finalist in the Northern ITF heats 2005 and a semi finalist of the DMC UK Battle for supremacy in 2009/2010. Shortly after I decided to retire from competing and rebrand in 2012 as Beast Box. This pulls from my colourful background as a turntablist, producer, party starter, and of course music aficionado. I have played with a diverse range of acts from the Hip Hop and electronic music world such as Gza/Genius (Wu Tang Clan) Slum Village, Wildchild (Lootpack) Blu and Exile, Homeboy Sandman, DJ Nu-Mark (Jurassic 5) DJ Hydroe (Dusty Donuts) Mr.Len (Sirius XM) DJ Blakey, DJ Woody, Smoove (45 Live) The Blessings (LuckyMe) Dane Law (The Trilogy Tapes) Basic House (Opal Tapes) and many more. I was an ambassador for Pro X Fade and have had my mixes played on Koast FM & Method Radio.
