In a crew consisting of many hard Techno DJs, Annix is considered by many to be the most aggressive DJ in the Detroit Techno Militia. After becoming disenchanted with the Punk Rock scene in the mid-90's, Annix turned to Hip-Hop, Techno and Electro to vent his own expression of social discontentment. His style is a precise mix of mechanical rhythms, tribal mayhem, and punishing kick drums. His inspiration is drawn from abroad as well as home including the sounds found in Crass records, all the way to the ethics of Underground Resistance.
In recent years, Annix has focused on hardware-only production with emphasis on analog synthesis. He has become one of the most consistent producers on Detroit Techno Militia. His releases on DTM007 and DTM Digital display his versatility, from harder edged Techno and Detroit-style Electro, to funky dancefloor cuts.
