I'm Dj Silk of 100 Proof-a Dj/Producer and Martial Artist on the Bodhisattva Path. I've been Djing since I was 11yrs old (1981), professionally since 16yrs old. I left the profession for 20+ years but now I'm back because I need my creative expression!!!
I've Dj'ed for clubs, house parties, special events, Hip Hop groups, concerts, colleges, Jamaican Reggae sound systems and most recently on Internet radio.
I specialize in House music, Disco, Classic Hip Hop, Break Beats, Turntablism, and Reggae (Dancehall, Roots and Dub).
Musical influences: I'm from a musical family. I grew up in a musically and culturally diverse household of performing artists. Some of my uncles in Jersey City were founding members of Kool & The Gang. The magnificent PM Dawn are my 1st cousins RIP Prince Be.

I've lived all over the US and have been heavily influenced by the Veteran Djs of Chicago, New York, Detroit, Baltimore, Philly, Los Angeles as well as Veteran Champion Sound Systems of Jamaica and abroad.
