Romeu's reputation as one of the most active DJs in Portuguese underground began in the south, in the Algarve, playing at parties that were un-aligned with the commercial expectations of the region's vast touristic circuit. His passion for the less explored side of languages like disco, house music or funk is nothing short of virulent; so he quickly began to play in other latitudes and at one point decided to leave the lush beaches for the aurora borealis of Oslo, Norway of Prins Thomas, Todd Terje and Lindstrom.

Upon his return to Portugal, this time in Lisbon, he joined the group behind the ELA (East Lisbon Afters) parties, regularly joining ravers and music lovers in less obvious spaces in the city for a final dance with quality music right at the center of the after-hours experience. At Rádio Quântica he is responsible for the show Alf Keil.
