Im an authentic dharma bum, a student of Beat poet Allen Ginsburg, became his assistant and companion before he sent me to California to sit with Phillip whalen. I was moving there anyway to pursue my interests in photography, and ended up editing for National Geographic photographers and all sorts of other neat stuff before being struck down by AIDS. After a decade of living in the hell of "Howl" I am emerging now as a survivor of the AIDS pandemic, and a victim of the Drug War in America, delivering hope and comon sense to the people who need it, and complaints and better plans for the people who won't admit.
