WHITFIELD BATSON was born in Paddington, West London, his parents moved from Barbados to the United Kingdom in the 1960’s.
As a teenager, he thought it fitting to attend College to become certified in Audio Engineering.
Batson also developed a talent for writing and wrote or co-wrote songs for Sonia Ferguson, Glen Goldsmith, Philip Forrester, The Undivided Roots Band and his Brother Slim Batson.
