WhatFlag, World street Fusion

WhatFlag is a new World Rock/Jazz Band, based in Bristol (U.K.).
They are under the production of Jamaa ( http://www.jamaa.in/ ), a music led co-operative, where the drive is to unite communities and build positive social change around the world. Jamaà comes together to create great music and to bring it to people all over the world, breaking down the borders placed on us in our quest to make music.
WhatFlag is bringing to the UK an articulated project originally born in 1998 in the Middle East under the name of WhiteFlag, a band formed by three musicians from Gaza and three musicians from Tel Aviv.
WhatFlag features two of the original musicians from WhiteFlag (Gani Tamir, vocals; Mark Smulian, bass/harmonica/bak vox) and three new musicians from UK and Sardinia (Jools Scott, piano/keys/bak vox; Mike Vince, drum/percussion; Gianni Cossu, guitar/bak vox).
