Warren, born in Johannesburg, South Africa 1979, has always been rooted in music, coming from a very musical and artistic family. Found his way into some of London’s biggest clubs as a DJ to unleash his unique brand of deep house which fuses tribal intensity, techy rhythms and percussive basslines in a 4 to the floor format. Trying to pin down exactly how he plays always proves a challenge; every set is an experience. Always different. Always special.
Up until 2011 Warren was a talented classical fine artist, but decided last year that DJ’ing was the career he wanted to pursue along with his art, finding deep love for the true pioneers of the House genre; John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Tenaglia, Lawler, Cattaneo, all offering something that classical music didn’t; a raw edginess and a love for the scene they helped to mould and shape into what it is today.
