At an early age I knew I loved music, at the age of 13 I knew my path was going to be music. The first time I went over to my friends house and saw his brothers DJ equipment, and saw my friend get on the decks I knew I was going to be a DJ. I asked my dad to by me a DJ set up he said no, I did not let that stop me. I convinced my cousin to buy a DJ set up for himself, he did not really use the equipment, but I sure did. On the corner of 76th street and 17th ave underneath the L train, they opened up a record store. Every day I would go the record store and buy records, I would go home and cut up records like UTFO, Run DMC, LL Cool J and many more. I would be on the turn tables morning and night. At the point when I knew I was good enough to DJ at parties at the age of 16, I started working with a mobile DJ company out of Brooklyn. I started doing sweet 16, weddings and birthday parties for this company but it didn’t work out. They wanted me to play music I didn’t really like to mix.
