I am French, born in Paris, spent some of my early years in sunny Tenerife then back to Paris where I invaded my Dad's record collection finding the sounds of the 50s- 60s and loving them completely! Gainsbourg, Birkin, Francoise Hardy, Polnareff (I loved Tous Les Bateaux Tous Les Oiseaux), Sylvie Vartan, Dutronc of course and then also classical yes I liked that too, Debussy, Mozart, Stravinsky, Baroque and can't forget my Rock & Roll! Elvis, Eddie Cochrane, Buddy Holly early R&B and I do love Doo-Wop and many others artists, Lou Reed and Scott Walker who i was lucky to work with later were also among my faves growing up in Paris.

I guess that made me a bit of an outsider and it wasn't too much fun as the only 'Teddy Girl' in a strict convent school in Trocadero ha! So i quit at 15 to start a life in music...but I wasn't i
