In the late 90's he founded Jalapeno Records a left field breakbeat vinyl only record label as a platform to launch artist moniker such as Ikon, Skeewiff and Shaft. Shaft's 'Mucho Mambo' became his first global hit.

Over the years Elliot has collaborated with Alan Hawkshaw, Finely Quaye, John Peel, The Young MC and Skooly D.

He founded Pedigree Cuts a music label and platform for his own material but also like minded recording artists such as Finely Quaye, Goldie, Shawn Lee, Kid Creme, The Brand New Heavies and Ulrich Schnauss.
