I'm sure I was one of the first Soul Deejays in Germany, starting in March 1967. In those days one could hear Soul Music only in the few Clubs open to afro-american G.I.'s. In the 70s I toured US Army Bases to support USO Shows like Edwin Starr, Ann Peebles, etc or simply entertained the crowd with "Mr. Brown's Funky Disco". Later I introduced all kinds of Black Music in more than hundred Clubs & Venues (Booked for a night or up to 10 years). I still funk up Clubs & Weekenders in Kassel, Frankfurt, Hamburg, at the Baltic Sea or wherever groovy people meet.
