Unpopular Music is a program of same, formerly webcast on BostonFreeRadio.com, currently just living here for the time being. I've been calling it "freeform", but it's been skewing towards jazz with some contemporary classical and not-often-played-on-the-radio pop music. I've played people like Steve Lacy, Thelonious Monk, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Miles Davis, Sun Ra and Lee Konitz; newer jazz like Bill Frisell, the Bad Plus, Tim Berne, and Dave Douglas; contemporary classical from people like Bang on a Can, So Percussion, and Steve Reich; older composers like Charles Ives, John Cage and Igor Stravinsky; enlightened pop music like Harry Nillson, Robyn Hitchcock, and Deerhoof; and people who fall in the cracks like Ennio Morricone, Iva Bittova and Frank Zappa; and bits of world music and early music, too. There's also a shabbily written and sparsely updated blog that goes along with it at funpopularmusic.blogspot.com.
