Typoboy aka Tony Holster is a Macedonian-Parisian DJ in love with both traditional and electronic music. He also organizes the one and only night in Paris dedicated to electroswing : ELECTRO SWING CLUB DE PARIS. His first vinyl loves were scratching and mixing. His search for an authentic sound led to him falling into the cook-pot of swing and the mixture of these 3 major musical influences was to give birth to a DJ style all his own. As pioneer of the Electro-Swing style in Paris, he started to practise and the Chicken Swing was born. Electro-Swing & Swing-Hop DJ T-Boy mixes vinyl records that take you back in time, to the days when Jazz wasn’t highbrow music and when the clubs were a thousand miles away from today’s sanitised versions. His style has moved on lately to include sounds from the Balkans of his youth. To listen to one of his mixes is to feel the power of brass and marching bands from New Orleans to the Balkans, underscored with the freshest bass-lines and electronic beats
