Growing up in Pietermaritzburg, she took, and still holds, the title of being the first and only female dj to come out of the city, and held the court many times with the likes of Lady Lea, Coco Loco, Brett Jackson, Mimi Kesaris and DJ Fresh at venues across the country including Sudada, Groove Bar, Crazy 88, Truth and Nicci Beach. Originally born in London, Trixy made a voyage back to the Big Smoke in 2008, where she earned her heels worth playing some of best venues including Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Pacha and 54 alongside renowned names like Inland knights, Le Fleur, Kinky Movement, Sound Diggers, Marc Vedo and some of London’s hottest underground djettes; Nickelle, Rebekah, Maura and Laura Essence.
