DJ Toujoursfresh is not just your typical press play DJ. Born and bred in Brooklyn of Haitian parentage. He grew up in a time when rap was fresh out the box and where mix tapes ruled the underground. What Toujoursfresh creates with his DJ’ing style is dimension and a mash-up of similar sounds across all genres.
His musical tastes were cultivated throughout the era of the hypnotic DJ’s on stations like WBLS, Hot 97, Z100, KTU and Kiss FM in NYC and musical video revolutions on stations like Video Music Box, MTV and VH1. He’s always digging in the crates for sounds from pop, dance, soul, R&B, funk, country, hip hop, rap, trap, techno, electro, house, jazz, Brazilian, reggae, dancehall, soca, konpa, zouk, reggaeton and latin.
