Over the past 15 years, DJ Tony S has evolved his mixing skill sets, headlining community events, local clubs, and notoriously famous house parties.
Recognizing there was a significantly large Hip Hop following in his circles, he began to indulge in the creations of artists such DJ Premier, Nas and Jay-Z to name a few. With his appreciation for the authenticity of their beats, Tony began to DJ house parties and events allowing him to revel in the appreciation of providing sensory provoking mixes.
From Zambia to Canada, and after completing his studies in Kitchener-Waterloo, Tony S explored new avenues of music. It was at this point in his life where he was exposed to House Music and found himself residually intertwined in the creation of unclassified, uncharted and non-mainstream house music. In conjunction with his love for authentic 70’s beats and his provisioned respect for House Music, Tony S gravitated toward Detroit Funk, Chicago and Deep House genres.
