TOMMY TALTON
Six decades in, it’s clear that guitarist and songwriter Tommy Talton is still making music for the sheer joy of it. He manages to perform with both the energy of a music-obsessed kid and the restraint of a seasoned veteran – because, at heart, he is both.
He began his career in Florida and in 1966 was a founding member of a group called “We The People.”
Recording with RCA Victor Records, gained much critical acclaim and are still considered in the top three most listened to/appreciated “garage band” groups of all time.
In 1970, Tommy Talton, along with Scott Boyer, was a founding member of Capricorn Records group “Cowboy.”
From 1971 thru '77 Cowboy recorded 4 albums @ Capricorn.
“Reach For The Sky,” “5’ll Getcha Ten” “Boyer and Talton: Cowboy” (1974) and “Cowboy” (1977).
Tommy began recording a fifth album of all original songs in Oct. of 2015 titled: "Somewhere South of Eden."
