DEAD SINGER'S SOCIETY/NEW SINGER'S SOCIETY is a new show never seen before on lsrfm. We believe that there are too many artists that have been forgotten amongst the haze of today's pop culture, and our plan is to bring these artists back to life.
Tom studies Broadcast journalism at the University of Leeds and was part of lsrfm sport last year while jon has aspirations to fill lsrfm listeners with a knowledge of music from the generations gone by.

The hour long show will consist of three artists or bands which will be chronicled and their music played. We hope that listeners will appreciate that they are learning about music which has made a profound influence on the songs they listen to today. We feel that it would be a real shame to let these talented musicians fade into the back pages of history. We don't want the show to turn into a rock n' roll discography but to play all genres from the past. In the end music is about the who not the when.
