Thuto Tshegofatso Lelake a.k.a Supreme Socialist is a serious musical enthusiast ,one would describe his musical talent as a calling than anything else .From a tender age Supreme Socialist was influenced and had a very strong connection with music , predominantly the music he was exposed to was Jazz by the like of “Bra Hugh Masikela , Paul Hammer and Roberta Flack .It was very evident at that point in time Supreme that Socialist had a very profound love for art and music, from 1998 -2000 Supreme Socialist discovered his love for “Slam Poetry” .That’s where he derived his stage name from and excelled drastically his talents .He elevated his artistic skills even more when he began practicing and spinning vinyl’s .It was very that his past musical influences would be more than an inspiration towards his music ,some of his musical influences as a disc jockey are the likes of Greg Maloka , the late Khabzela , Frank Roger , M.A.W , Vinny Da Vincy and the late D.J Monde .Supreme Socialist
