THUMP is a Breakspoll-nominated (Best Small Event, 2012) event based in Reading, UK.
Born in March 2007 out of a frustration with the lack of local events and the 'chin-strokey/holier-than-thou' attitude of a lot of underground nights, THUMP quickly established itself through parties with a reputation for wicked resident DJs, big bass, a large dose of silliness and, above all, bouncing around like idiots in front of a ridiculously loud soundsystem!
Since making our home at Reading's Bar Iguana in 2009, THUMP has played host to some of the biggest names in the international breakbeat scene (largely free entry events), whilst also providing a platform for some of the regions very best local DJs to rock out alongside their heroes.
