Growing up in Oslo, in the 80s - we had a place called "fritidsklubb" were I joined the DJ-group being responsible for playing in the weekends. This combined with a mum that just loved music, thus the radio played all day long.
When closing in on 18 we grew out of "klubben" but not my love and interest for music and mixing. I bought my first pair of Technics 1210, and when I got my hands on the brand new Numark mixer - I felt like a million.
In 85 I got my first job, as resident DJ of WhiteHouse. the jobs kept on coming until 1993. I started schratching after the DMC World Championships 87. I was at Hippodrome "DJ convention" as well as the Royal Albert Hall were the Best of the best Battled it out. But after a couple of mistakes cost me victories in the Norwegian Qualification - I chose the name DJ Miss. It sounded better than DJ Fucked-up-twice. I would have won in 93, but unfortunately I was detained, and not able to participate. In 2008 I woke up as addicteDJ.
