Tim Hardin was a very unique performer. He lead a very turbulent life and wrote personal songs about himself. Between his struggle to find an audience and his substance abuse, Hardin only found contentment with family life - and he wasn't able to hold on to that. Where his music found it's audience is through other performers who covered his songs extensively.
