meat is the uber cult gay pin-up zine from photographer, DJ, club promotor and publisher Adrian Lourie.
The zine has been publishing for 13 years and runs side by side with one of London's longest running gay nights of the same name. Currently residing at Dalston Superstore (for the last 8 years) 'meat' the party has also had long residencies at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, The Glory and Vogue Fabrics! As a DJ alongside his co-promotor and fellow meat boy, Fannar, Adrian has DJed at Brixton Electric, The Scala, Fire and internationally in Paris (Energy, The meat party, Monday is Coming), Berlin and San Francisco (meat parties).
As well at the meat party Adrian is a resident DJ at the Kings Arms, Soho playing Friday night Disco, funk and soul. He also regularly plays at their alternative night 'All Sorts' playing eclectic indie and pop.
