The Funky Boulevards, the alias of Brazilian-born Italian DJ Giovanni Pierobom Vicentin, brings 15 years of musical experience to Europe. Currently a resident DJ at AlpiNN in the Dolomites, Giovanni draws from his Brazilian roots and influences like acid jazz, disco, funk, house, and hip-hop to deliver dynamic, soulful sets. Inspired by legends such as Jamiroquai, Frankie Knuckles, and Prince, his performances blend analog and digital equipment, with vinyl as a staple.
After starting in Curitiba, Brazil, Giovanni gained recognition through projects like The Factory Sessions on Digitally Imported FM and co-founding the Connection Festival. Before moving to Europe, in 2017 he curated The Groove for Brazil’s Transamérica radio. Now based in Treviso, Italy, he’s focused on crafting original music while continuing to captivate audiences with his unique style. Giovanni describes Italy as the perfect place to expand his artistry and share his personal vibe.
