I grew up in the East End of Glasgow before attending secondary school in Cumbernauld. In 2008 I graduated from Stirling University in Politics & Sociology.

Since then I have done various jobs, the most rewarding being working within the Glasgow City Homelessness action team, based at various locations.

I am a former parliamentary candidate for a mainstream political party. I speak German.

My current preoccupations are writing and photography.

I'm a man of simple pleasures. I enjoy dinner parties, reading, travelling, culture, and fine wines.

People tell me I'm laid back even though I don't always feel it, I try my best to entertain hosts and enjoy listening to others.
