Fortunately, the shows were broadcast by the BFBS to this foreign-to-pop-culture-diaspora. Other radio programs of many times of day contributed to the mix. Thus developed an affinity for crude compilations. As a punk rock drummer for Novotny TV, American Lead Guitar, Les Jacks, the Agitators and many others, got to know the kitchen floors of the entire republic as well as its endless variety of musical tastes. There are mixtapes here that are named after common genres. But the songs included go beyond the scope of what would be regarded as appropriate by most definitions. It's about the mood, what fundamentally connects the tracks, the vibe.
