The Patternbase is a leading textile and graphic design studio located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 2011 by, Kristi O’Meara and Audrey Victoria Keiffer. It serves as a resource and place of inspiration for designers and pattern lovers around the globe. We strive to provide our community with valuable resources which will help educate and inspire them throughout their artist careers. These include interviews and discussions with artists whose work revolves around the use of pattern, and exhibitions and publications focused on presenting the work of emerging artists to a wider audience. Our goal is to bring creative minds together into a community where they can interact and learn from one another through a series of projects and discussions, and to offer opportunities in which friendships and relationships can be built through creative collaboration.
