Ibi: Born August 13th 1989 James William Morton was born in Edmonton but grew up in Vancouver since the age of 5.

As a young boy was always passionate about music in all avenues which at the time meant jazz and classical singing and guitar as well as violin trumpet and piano.

In the earlier teens started experimenting with darker and heavier content the likes of Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, Wu - Tang Clan, Big L, while still maintaining a love for artists like Bob Marley ,Sublime, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. When finally introduced to electronic music a long love story unfurls. Spends the early 20s of life DJing around Vancouver, underground house, dubstep and drum n bass but the musician always had a profound interest in not only celebrating the music but creating it. The hiatus for the past 4 years has been one of learning, strugglediscipline and creation. Finally honed to the level required for jungle and bass music
