Doctor Thirteen's Audio Lab radio programs were the first broadcast on WAIF, Cincinnati 88.3 FM from late 1993 until 1999.
The program featured home-recorded music and sound from the international DIY (Do It Yourself) underground. Most of the material broadcast was provided by the artists on cassette tape.
