about the artist or whatever: marcus has always had an interest in electronic music. starting with depeche mode and new order in the early 80’s, he collected 12” singles because he loved remixes. in a world of infinite music possibilities, being able to find variations of a track was a way to explore alternative interpretations of the same song.
marcus followed the toronto club scene from the late 90’s, attended sets and was inspired by albums from sasha, nick warren, john digweed, max graham and other progressive house/trance dj’s. he began mixing in early 2011 using virtual dj pro and a netbook.
