TÆO (a Datablend Resident) combines his songwriting ability, engineering prowess, multi-instrumental know-how, ableton workflow, unorthodox sampling technique, lo-fi aesthetics (tape, real to real, field recordings) and most recently drum production that make nods to the newer trap, juke, footwork, wonky, years of obessing over dilla, UK funky, and cloud rap styles. His extensive knowledge of programming (midi, script), over a decade engineering band EPs and demos, singer songwriters, and his own former productions manifests an expansive palette.
