Sylk Blak - Vocalist, entertainer.
Born in Mobile, Alabama, Fredi "Sylk" Blak's family migrated to Los Angeles, California where as a child he was drawn to the entertainment industry.
Sylk began performing in night clubs before graduating high school.
After some college and a stint in the navy, Sylk was recruited by Norman Whitfield's "Masterpiece" - a five man vocal group fashioned after The Temptations.
Later Sylk would become a member of former Temptations' Damon Harris' group "Impact", Bobby Hendrix's Drifters, The Elsberry Hobbs Drifters, and finally former Temptation Glenn Leonard's "Temptation Experience".
Along the way Sylk also involved himself in theatrical productions, including: Somkey Joe's Cafe, The Five Heartbeats, and Solid Gold Motown among others. Sylk has also done television and film work.
Sylk is lead singer for Tre Zure, his "Delfon-Xperience" group (a tribute to The Delfonics), and performs his Al Green tribute act.
