I grew up listening to Hot Mix 5 in Chicago and was inspired by Bad Boy BIll. Upon entering Purdue University, I meet some friends and that got me into DJing. Under the pseudonym of DJ Synapse, I DJed in Purdue and was an instrumental part of the Sunshocked Entertainment group. Coming back home to Chicago, I started DJing in various clubs and bars downtown. I was also one of the first DJs to promote their weekly mixes on iTunes Podcast. I ran a weekly mix called Synful Fridays that highlighted myself and my friend's mixes.

After taking a break from the scene, I couldn't take a break from the music. Now living in San Diego and dealing with a global pandemic, I needed an escape from the world. Though DJ Synapse is retired, I wanted to share the music I'm listening to and let loose my creative side with my close friends. Instead of using the moniker of DJ Synapse, I've decided to use my actual name as my style is more refined. Join me on my journey!
