SuKhush features Rachel laying down live grooves & improvisation on the C Flute over Vish's DJ sets of funky world electronica & FX - ranging from upbeat audial adventures for the dance floor sets to chilled journeys for the yoga studio. SuKhush is a member of the Altar Records (Canada) family (http://altar-records.com) & has played festivals & celebrations of all types throughout North America, Europe, India & Israel.
SuKhush developed its pineal-tingling blend of the organic & technological while Rachel and husband Vish (DJ Labyrinthm) owned and operated their own nightclub in Bombay, India, during the early 2000s. Joining the New York scene in 2005, SuKhush evolved into a partnership between husband and wife. Now Vish provides the Dj & Fx sets, while Rachel improvises live, to create a light-filled interweaving of beats & grooves.
SuKhush is a Sanskrit for complete contentment :: let it flow!
