Nick De Voost, aka Subground 3000,
Is a DJ and producer from northern France. In 1988, aged 15, he discovered Radio SIS (Belgium), which introduced him to the sounds of Detroit techno and Chicago house, a musical revelation. Influenced by soul, funk, hip-hop, electronica, and cold wave, he began spinning records across France, Belgium, and Germany, as well as on various radio shows, sharing his love for deep, emotional electronic music.
His sets explore the connection between Detroit-influenced techno and deep house, always grounded in groove and atmosphere. Over time, DJing led naturally to production, and he has since worked on several projects and remixes, staying true to his roots while pushing his sound forward.
